Berlin “Love Life” released on tomorrow’s date, March 12th, 1984. Love Life made it to #28 on the US Billboard chart. Its sole hit “No More Words” reached #23 in May of ‘84 with an excellent Bonnie and Clyde-like reenactment video (though not entirely historically accurate – I doubt Depression-era bank robbers rocked bleached-blonde hair tipped with black ends like singer Terri Nunn).

Outside of “No More Words” and “Dancing in Berlin,” which are great new wave dance tracks, the record is pretty standard mid-80′s bright synth pop punctuated by drum machine beats.
