Depeche Mode “Behind ẗhe Wheel/Route 66” 1987. 12″ single with four remixes: Megamix, Megadub, Extended Remix and Beatmasters Mix. Side A’s tracks include the classic “Route 66″ reworked into synth pop meets 80′s rockin’ guitar sandwiched in the middle of “Behind the Wheel.” The single version appears on dM’s ‘87 LP Music for the Masses and it reached #21 in the UK and #61 in the US.
