Echo and the Bunnymen “Echo and the Bunnymen” 1983 5-song EP.  We are going to see Echo and the Bunnymen at Turner Hall here in Milwaukee tonight. This mini album includes some of my favorite early releases: “The Cutter” and “Back of Love” from Porcupine, the 1983 single “Never Stop,” “Rescue” and my all-time fave “Do It Clean” from Crocodiles. The version of “Do It Clean” on this EP is live, even more powerful than the original, recorded at The Royal Albert Hall in London on July 18th, 1983. I’m hoping to hear most of these songs tonight, in all of their swirling post-punk psychedelia and lyrical urgency.
