Electric Frankenstein “Deal With It”
Electric Frankenstein “Deal With It” b/w “Monster Demolisher” 1997. Sonic Swirl Records. More Halloween spins! (and more to come, we have no shortage in the Vault) Recorded in 1995, both tracks appeared on Electric Frankenstein’s first full-length LP Electric Frankenstein Conquers the World, released in ‘96. That album was basically a collection of singles released on various labels, including Frisbee Records (my two all-time favorites: “It’s All Moving Faster” and “Coolest Little Monster”), Exit Records (“New Rage” b/w “Home of the Brave”) and Junk Records (“Get Off My Back” b/w “Face at the Edge of the Crowd” and “Electrify Me” b/w “Just Like Your Mom”). Raw, super-high energy punk and reliably ass-shaking, Electric Frankenstein “aren’t young or pretty, and in case you haven’t noticed neither is Real Rock & Roll. EF aren’t here to be your girlfriend, they’re here to ROCK! While stupid critics might say ‘but, it’s only rock n roll, its nothing new’, EF fans are saying “Damn, right!” as they embrace the best of what’s loud, fast, and rules from the last 30 years distilled down to one single organism. EF are one a mission to revitalize Rock & Roll and save people from the boredom of ‘alternative music’” (from their website).
Daily (maybe) pulls from the vault: 33-1/3, 45, 78, old, older, classic, new, good, bad. Subjective. Autobiographical. Occasionally putting a record up for sale.
