]]> The Pack AD “Yes I Know” b/w “Fair Enough” 2016/2018 extremely limited (to one copy, this one) custom vinyl on Romanus Records, filled with Flat12 Bierwerks beer, oil and water. We saw The Pack AD play last week at Company Brewing in Milwaukee and what a show! Fuzzy stomping garage punk via Canada, singer/guitarist Becky Black and drummer Maya Miller stormed through an amazing set surrounded with swirling confetti’d lights that featured tracks from their latest release, Dollhouse, as well as songs from older albums, including “Yes I Know” off of their 2016 record Positive Thinking.

I picked up this copy of “Yes I Know” at Romanus Fest down in Indianapolis last month and it’s definitely one of my favorite Pack AD songs. (One of the sponsors of the event was Indy’s Flat12 Bierwerks, hence the incorporation of the beer into the vinyl.) It’s an all-out rocker with crashing guitar and an infectiously brutal beat.

Side B’s “Fair Enough” is more atmospheric in temperament but still has a killer beat and guitar hook; the track is “a two-chord wonder with a snaky melody, some fantastic guitar work, and a savage punk crescendo capping off the end.” (Allmusic).
