The Maness Brothers “Drive Me” and “Pain”

The Maness Brothers “Drive Me” and “Pain” 2020. Romanus Records, Lathe Love Series #3, very limited edition side-by-side custom clear vinyl single. The Maness Brothers, from St. Louis, just released their latest full LP this past weekend (also on Romanus Records), God Bless The Maness Brothers; I ordered my copy on sand-filled glow-in-the-dark vinyl. We’ve seen The Maness Brothers perform a bunch of times now and their hard-driving deep and dirty garage blues never ever disappoints. Both “Drive Me” and “Pain” are steeped in roots rock/blues with a super-gritty edge, good for both foot stompin’ and head banging. Both tracks appear on their new release which you can listen to in its entirety here.
Here’s a shot from the last time we saw them perform, in Indianapolis at Romanus Fest, August 2019.
